about me

I’m a Bible teacher and author with a passion for sharing the beauty of God’s Word with others. My love for the Bible started in high school, and I haven’t stopped learning and talking about it since. My love for God, his Word, and his people eventually led me to Westminster Theological Seminary, where I earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies.

Today, I have the joy of teaching God’s Word through books and articles, as well as at conferences, retreats, online and in-person events, and in my local church women’s ministry. I also serve as coordinator of women’s initiatives for The Gospel Coalition, where I have the opportunity to train women around the world for ministry.

teaching & speaking

I’ve loved teaching as long as I remember. Far before I taught in any formal capacity, I’d teach anyone who would listen about my latest interest. Now, I teach the Bible at conferences, retreats, and Bible studies.

My teaching is rooted in Scripture and centered on Christ—grounded in the text and guided by the overarching story of redemption. I’m passionate about helping women see how the Bible connects from beginning to end, how it reveals the beauty of Jesus, and how it speaks truthfully and powerfully into every area of life.

the day to day

I live in Georgia with my husband of 11 years and our three daughters. We’re longtime members of Sojourn Community Church where I serve on the women’s teaching team and the worship team. In my free time you might find me breathing in the fresh air on a walk, sharing delicious food and better conversations with friends, or curled up with a great book. You’ll always find a few piles of clean but yet-to-be-folded laundry around my house, which I’ll eventually tackle with a podcast or audiobook to keep me company. I prefer tea over coffee, and I’d love to chat about theology over a chai latte or a hot cup of rooibos. In the mundane and monumental, my greatest desire is to know Jesus and to make him known.
